In our previous post, we discussed how precision technologies may help reduce over-consumption, including offering benefits to consumers with personalized products and services from analyzing personal data.

But could we as consumers trust our personal data to such technologies even for our own benefits?

Data security, then, is one of the key issues for using precision technologies to benefit consumer well-being and social well-being.

The article below, in collaboration with Mr. Ningtao Tang, a tech expert, explores the all-important data security issue in this context, and its challenges.
